Before your appointment

The spray tanning solution affects only the dead skin cells. Your skin has a build up of dead skin cells on top of it. The thicker the layer, the sooner the tan will rub off. If you exfoliate, the layer will be very shallow, and it will take a while for it to “build up”. Your tan will last longer. It is important to use an exfoliating glove and products that don’t contain any oils, otherwise the oily barrier can stop the spray tanning solution getting through.

It is important that you exfoliate your skin a few days before and the night before the spray tan. (preferably not the day of) unless done at least 8 hours before your appointment. Give these areas a good scrub knees, ankles, heels and the tops of your feet dry areas absorbs the tanning solution faster, to avoid an uneven looking tan.

Spray tan day

No oils, lotions, perfumes or deodorant the day of the tan as they can act as a barrier and cause streaking or a certain percent of colour from being absorbed in areas .

Do not shower right before your appointment as the steam will open the pores and your body gets hydrated. This can adversely effect the tan because your skin might not absorb all of the solution or the tan could develop lighter. I recommend at least showering 4 hours before ( no soap or body wash as you should have exfoliated the night or morning before).

Bring along some loose clothing preferably dark clothing.

I do supply disposable G-strings if you want to bring along your bikini totally up to you as I do respect all my clients , for men please bring along dark undies or dark swimwear.

After your tan.

Ill explain to you how long to keep the solution on before you rinse it off, please don’t be concerned if some of the Moroccan tan solution rinses off, its part of the tanning process your fabulous skin is still tanning.

Use a cream base shower gel or soft soap

If you out in the sun please do apply sun-screen as the tan wont protect your skin against the sun.

Go and enjoy your tan
